Because you're worth it. Like so many young men, I grew up hearing those words almost every day because you're worth it. I took him for granted because like so many young men. I didn't need to be told I grew up in a world that was already designed to make me feel worth it. But at some point, you gotta ask yourself. all we only worth it. If we don't do everything, we can to make sure our daughters and our nieces grow up in a world where they have exactly the same opportunities as their male classmates. Are we worth it? We're worth it. When we acknowledge male privilege, when we stand up and speak up and show solidarity. Well worth it. When we recognize that equality is the sacrifice. It benefits.
