I had a female Airman who came and said, you know, I'm not religious but can I talk to you? And I said, absolutely, the Airmen sat down and she disclosed some information. The first day we went through some grief counseling of what did that mean? And what did that look like for her? And then a few days later, she came back again and said, I don't know that I would have been able to tell somebody else everything that I told you. And so I'm really glad that you were a woman but I'm also really glad that you are a person of faith. Maybe the churches, Not so bad. After all, I never want an airmen's worst day to be their last day. And if I can be some peace in that Journey, then it's all worth it.
