Nowadays, unregistered and illegal drones have brought about aviation accidents and increased threats of attacks, uncritical national facilities such as military bases and nuclear power plants around the world. Sphere Guard is an integrated anti-dron system to secure safety against such drone threats. The hybrid drone detection sensor uses latest AESA technology. It transmits and receives radio wave signal in several directions simultaneously by controlling the antenna pattern and scanning the direction of the array antenna electronically. Without mechanical rotation, it can detect and track small drones in all directions over 6 to 9 kilometers away. The hybrid sensor has a ring array structure, so it can be customized by adding and removing ring arrays and modules to the market requirements. The sensor can be repaired quickly by replacing the broken module. By combining radar and RF signal detection technique and integrating AI classification algorithm, the hybrid sensor provides high performance and reliable detection capability. Even more, it can integrate the GNSS chamber inside. When the hybrid sensor found a drone in its 3D location, the long-range EOIR camera goes to that location and captures the real-time video image of the drone. An AI video processing algorithm of the operating software performs automatic detection, recognition, and tracking of drones within video scenes. The operator can also configure and control all devices within the system by using the unified operation GUI. The system neutralizes drones by blocking navigation and control signals using GNSS and external jammer. As a total integrated system, Sphere Guard can respond to drone threats by detecting, tracking, identifying, and neutralizing drones. Sphere Guard protects national facilities and human lives in public, military, and civilian sites. Our sensor, AI and video processing technologies will be extended to urban air mobility. To prevent air collision with flying objects such as birds and small drones, we will develop the sensor system for the surveillance of small flying objects around vertiport and air vehicles. Fion systems shall provide solutions to provide an easy, safe environment for the autonomous flying of unmanned vehicles.
